Default Iphone Landscape Apps

Hey.
Does anyone know how to create an iphone app in landscape mode? Also is it possible to lock the iphone in a landscape mode (only for the app i want to make)? i want to make a game in landscape, but i dont want it to switch to a vertical or an inverted landscape when someone rotates the phone.
thanks for any help in advance

Offensive username, if you ask me. I'm scared to ask what the "345" might stand for..?

it has to be doable as the youtube player locks in landscape mode when the video starts to play.

well if you design the entire app in landscape mode and dont incorporate the accelerometers then it will be locked in landscape mode

Good point.. and there are other apps such as email that only work in portrait mode. There must be a way to turn off the accelerator.

It isn't a matter of turning it off. It is off by default, if you want it to rotate from landscape to portrait then you would have to add in the specific code to do that. You would probably find more help on this topic someplace else as this isn't exactly the most active developer forums.
