-More than likely posted from my iPhone 3GS / 32 gig / Black / 3.1 beta 3
Yes there is but it only works if the phone is locked or in "sleep mode". If you or anyone else is doing anything with the phone, it still pops up with a preview.

For anyone who knows what Skitch is, you know that the Phone would be your best friend if it had a mobile version of this. GO MAKE IT NOW!
Then, MobileCandyBar to replace SummerBoard and it has to be after the MobileFinder comes out.
Tomorow I'll make a mock-up of what i want it to look like.
It would be nice to look up a number by name search from the phone directory just as you can do if you are emailing or sending a text. Scrolling through 1600 names is difficult
Would also like the ability to sort and look up in phone directory by company name
Yes I do (actually 1593). I carry most of my business and personal contacts on the iPhone. Looking them up via a roladex system from 1981 is very tedious since I sometimes can't remember the party's last name - but if I look it up as though I were sending an email then I can go and scroll through a bunch of names to get to it. Two step processes don't appeal to me since iPhone designers could have included it in the original iPhone.
