I hope so ... I also hope someone will find a way to make apps from the sdk and put them on installer app before June. That would be just awesome. But from what I've heard apple has locked distribution to only on the iTunes Store.

Wait, what do you mean? Like using apps already on installer right?

Like from what I've read, apps made with the sdk from apple can't be like ... I'm not sure how to put this ... Like exported for public use so to speak any other way but through the iTunes app store once it is up and running. But idk for sure I could be wrong. Ideally I would love for apps to be made with the official sdk so they are top notch, and someone could find a work around so they could be distributed through means other than iTunes. I'm using the ones on installer now but if they were made with the sdk it would ensure there ability to work without issues.

ya but also right now the iphone "cant have third party apps" apple wants the app to be distributed through itunes but as hackers hacked the iphone there will be ways to put apps on the iphone without using itunes.

I really hope you are right. I mean they said two weeks to create a top quality app. We still have to wait 4 months to get our hand on them. We could have some of these great things in the mean time. Installer app is such a powerful tool with the sdk out its twice as powerful.

Thats a good question. I have a semester of programming experience back about a year ago. I would imagine that an average joe with no experience might need a programming book, which I'm sure in the next few months someone will write, about the basics of using the sdk. Apple does give you some sample code and it does look easy to use. However, from my little experience, programming is one of those things where one this is typed wrong and the program won't run. Thats why you would need some sort of guide to be able to check code against the first couple times.
