What I understood about the Apple's implementation of BT on the iPhone was that it was purely a telephone audio function only application. To get a GPS or hard drive or sync with a computer, etc. to work it has to be enabled as a serial bt device. Even though the iPhone has BT2.0 (and should be capable), these features are currently turned off by Apple on this device (unless the recent update unlocked it).

Please tell us what, exactly, you can do with the iPhone and Garmin! Is it just a hands free thing? GPS functionality isn't supposed to work with the iPhone right now - so I'm dying to know what's working...
