Default Trouble Pairing Macbook and Iphone

After going through the setup on my Macbook pro to pair up my Iphone, it temporarly shows up on my Iphone as PAIRED (for about 5 seconds) then goes away. Anyone else have this issue?

Iphone will only pair with headsets and in car phone systems.

It will currently not pair with anything else - may do so after a S/W upgrade.

You cannot use your iPhone as a BT modem or for data exchange with your MBP

nothing official at this point - I'm waiting the same as you are - I'd like to use the iPhone as a data link for example when working remotely with my MBP.

I'm thinking they could do this via BT or via USB - it's just a software issue at this point
