Default Please help with a silly question

I was talking with a friend and decided to use the bluetooth. My bluetooth was off at the time I was talking with him. So, how do I turn my bluetooth on? The only option I had was mute, keypad, speaker, add call, hold and contacts. There was no bluetooth options.

or jailbreak and install SBSettings, just swipe the top task bar (where the time and signal are) and a drop down menu appears, you can turn wifi, bluetooth, 3g, edge, ssh, and lots of other stuff off and on in about 2 seconds

you would have to take the phone away from your ear, hit the home button so the call screen minimizes (keeps the green bar up top), then go into settings, general, bluetooth and turn that hoss on.
