Default Iphone with Mercedes

I'm using Iphone with Mercedes CLK 2006, with the original Bluetooth adapter and Comand. Everything works fine, except when downloading the address book the '+' sign of international numbers is cut off. Any clue?

Default Merc

I wonder if the Merc kit is made by Parrot? When I get mine going (if) I'll post a response. Somehow I can't see Merc and VW using the same supplier!

The MHI Bluetooth adapter is produced by Mercedes part no. B6 787 5877 (European) or B6 787 5878 (US)

I have a 2007 S550 Mercedes. The bluetooth phone function works well with the iphone.
My question is how can i get the music function to work with the car or is this not possible?
