You don't. I have a 2008 G37 and the iPhone pairs fine but you can not sync the address book.

I have a 2007 G35 WITHOUT NAV and the pairing process went smooth. However, I do experience that 5 second delay when an incoming call is received. If anyone has a work around, I would love to hear it.

You cannot send over your contacts from your address book.

Does anyone know if syncing with the 2007 FX is possible, and if so how? If not, is there an aftermarket hands free car kit you can recommend?
I have a 2007 FX35 and paired the iPhone quite easily. Simply say "Set-up" then "Pair Phone" then "New Phone" The code is 1234. Good luck!

In fact everything is great, EXCEPT there is a 5-10 second delay that happens while answering incomming calls.

For example, the phone rings, I answer, and it seems for a second the bluetooth handsfree connection is established, so I say "hello", then WHAM it switches back to my radio (which at first made me think I was losing the connection).

However I learned if I'm patient, the handfree operation will resume normally after a few seconds (5-8 seconds). Problem is... by the time the connection is established my callers have given up, or are left confused, and I have to tell them "Sorry... it's this **** iPhone!"

I paired my car with 2 other phones without this problem. On my old phone, there was a feature on the handset that allowed me to disable the handset, while connected to a Bluetooth handsfree device.
I just thought I'd post back a little more info on this. It seems this problem only presents itself, when I use the phone controls of the car (on the steering wheel) to answer the call. If I use the iPhone itself, by pressing [Accept Call], and then pressing the Bluetooth audio source button on the iPhone, it connects instantly. This seems to suggest that when using the phone controls on the steering wheel to answer the phone, the iPhone is waiting several seconds before automatically transferring the call to the paired Bluetooth device. That's just a guess of course... but I think it's significant that my prior phone had the option to DISABLE HANDSET while connected to a Bluetooth hands free device (something the iPhone does not have). Seems if we had that option, this delay wouldn't be necessary???

Angry Help

I HAVE A G35S 2007 INFINITI THAT I CAN NOT USE MY IPHONE IN THE AUTO. IT STARTS OUT FINE BUT AFTER ABOUT 6 MONTHS THE STATIC IS TO MUCH AND NO ONE CAN HEAR. I TRIED A NEW IPHONE AS THE INFINITI DEALER SAID IT WAS THE PHONE AND NOT THE AUTO. BUT AFTER ABOUT A MONTH THE SAME THING HAPPENED. I NOW HAVE A SECOND PHONE FOR IN THE CAR AS I AM NOT GIVING UP MY IPHONE. HAS ANYONE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS OR ANY IDEAS.

If you can't, stop in your local Dealership and ask service or sales. They SHOULD be happy to assist you. If you are in VEGAS, come see me AND I'll show you that G37 with 330hp as well! Good Luck

PS: I'll try mine tomorrow in one of the '07 G35's and FX's and let you know.

Red face can you get the Pandora application to work

I have a 2007 G35. I just downloaded the Pandora music application and am trying play the Pandora music selections through my car's stereo system. When I connect my iPhone to the port in the center console it only wants to use the phone as an iPod. Does anyone know how to get Pandora to play through their car stereo in their G35? Thanks
