Default Just got a wangler, need your advice

What's the name of the third party box and where do I get one? I just got a wrangler with mygig and obviously have the same issue. The dealer told me a software update was coming in a couple of weeks and he'd upgrade mine as soon as it's available. Still won't help the Uconnect feature in the Wrangler, though, I'm betting. Mine was a dealer installed option, sot the rearview doesn't have a mic.

At first I thought all was well after making a call with it.
But then I discovered an incoming call is not recognized at all by the MYGIG unit, thus I can't answer it using the U-connect system.

Anyone else have this issue?

You can re-enable your wranglers U-connect system with a product from NAVTV called the BLUEGIG or ALLGIG.
The first one re-enables the U-connect system and comes with a mic the other will also allow front panel display in motion.

Although, I'm still having trouble with my iphone working with Uconnect correctly

I ordered the allgig from nav-tv for my wrangler and mygig system. I installed it last week and the Bluetooth with the iPhone works flawlessly! Just a hint if you are going to buy one check out jkboard.com. They are doing group buys on there and the price is $200 cheaper with the group buy!

oh yeah one more thing. You will need the software update for the mygig in order for the iPhone to work. I am on my phone now but will post the link later

I have an 07 Jeep Wrangler with the MYGIG and ALLGIG.
I have already installed the software update for the MYGIG "NTG4_9.561".

What software version do you have on your iphone?
And what software update are you refering to for the MYGIG?

I have the latest software version 1.1.2 for the iphone.
it paired fine, and works great to make a call, however when you receive a call the iphone rings but the MYGIG does not recognize it has an incoming call.

I just tried it with a Motorola SLVR and the SLVR worked fine

I'm running the same as you. 9.561 and 1.1.2 on a modded iPhone. My incoming calls are working fine. I do have a 08 wrangler not sure if mygig changed slightly between 07 & 08. Sorry I couldn't be much of a help. Contact susanne at nav-tv and she may be able to help you out.

My phone is un-modified.
I don't think this would be the difference because everyone seems to be reporting it works great and I doubt they all have modded phones.
I think 07, 08 are the same.
Where did you get the software update for the MYGIG?
Perhaps there's some difference there

This one's frustrating, I've done everything everyone else has to correct this problem but it refuses to recognize incoming calls.

The motorola worked without effort.

Jcrider,

I downloaded my software from http://jk-forum.com/showthread.php?t=17722. I burned to a CD and installed. I think its probably the same version you have but it might be worth a shot trying to re-update.

If all else fails I would contact Susanne at Nav-TV, hopefully she can help you out. Sorry for your troubles im sure its frustrating
