Have you checked out the Bluetooth menu on your iPhone? Go to Settings/General/Bluetooth and hit the blue arrow to the right of your car's Bluetooth ID in the Devices list. You should have options there on which contact groups are shared with your 650. However, I will say that I have had limited success with this menu - I have checked only one group but all of my contacts still upload to my X3, making it very hard for me to scroll through the contacts I use the most in a special group I made up.![]()
Well, I'm a bit frustrated. I did a sync of my outlook contacts thru iTunes and they went on my iPhone without a problem. I have about 2400 contacts. When I open my iPhone under contacts I have three categories: All Contacts / From my PC and under this All from my PC and also Contacts and the third is myname@me.com (MobileMe): All @me.com and Contacts. The last field is empty since I deleted all of the contacts in MobileMe (long story, but I decided to use iTune to transfer my contacts). The All Contacts (first field) has all of my contacts (I suspect about 2400), the From my PC has a selected number of contacts (not sure where they came from, but all of them are appropriate, just limited in number). When I get in my car, and sync the phone, it does NOT read all the contacts from my iPhone. Many are missing. Perhaps I need to contact BMW to see if there are too many for the car to handle? Makes little sense to me. Any suggestions?
