Lightbulb Let's talk bluetooth headsets! (( BlueAnt Z9i Red )) 4.5/5 Stars

I just got my red z9i last night from newegg (63.99). I love it so far. I paired it with the iphone right after charging it used it for a couple hours then did the firmware update to 1.1.

The sound is louder than before. It seems more clear as well. I wish they fixed the distance issue with the iphone this go round. I can't seem to get too far (( 7-10 feet)) before it starts cracking/static etc.

It works fine with the phone in my pocket. The biggest selling point is, this morning , I drove my car (G35 coupe) with the sunroof open and my windows down and the radio on. I turned the noise suppression onto the max setting and my girlfriend had no idea I'm driving with all of this going on! I didn't even have to shout!

That , plus the fact no one knows I'm even on a bluetooth headset are the 2 biggest complements so far in my book. I wish my Jabra JX-10 would have done that when I had it. I would have kept it.

Anyone looking for a great bluetooth unit, you can't go wrong with the new BlueAnt Z9i unit. Just make sure you update the firmware to 1.1. You can find the download link by googling

Blueant Z9i 1.1 firmware howardforums....

the link is on the first page about halfway down
