Default Freedom Keychain GPS

I guess you have heard about it otherwise see link at bottom of message.
It retails at about $100, it's a keychain, therefore very small and it's bluetooth...
My question:
1) does it work with the iphone?
2) any software/hack out there to make it work with the iphone?
Thanks for your replies

It won't work. BT gps requires a serial BT connection, and just like A2DP, Apple has locked the os from this functionality. Both functions could be enabled through updates since BT2.0 is used, but it's up to Apple as to when/if that will ever happen.

The other issue is whether or not google maps will support gps input. Without the ability to add 3rd party software, having a map to navigate on may be an issue.

Default Goggle maps supports BT GPS on non-ATT Blackberry's...

So I see no reason why it can't on iPhone if Apple update BT stack and Goggle maps program - it really a question of whether they wish to or whether they wish to support the current ATT approach of locking out BT GPS on Blackberry's with built in and BT GPS support - currently ATT charge to activate the service via a monthly fee........
