Bluetooth adaptor help infinxx ap23

Hi has anybody got the iphone 3g and with latest firmware and also the infinxx ap23 bluetooth adaptor for it, well i have bought this adaptor as the forums said this will definately work with the iphone 3g, ive also got a pair of moto sp9 bluetooth headphones, my question is i cant seem to hear any music through the headphones even though it is paired with the headphones ok, the adaptor infinxx does not seem to be picking up any sound on headphones, also i get an error message when connecting the ap23 on my iphone saying this is not a compatable device i need to switch to airplane mode !!
Any ideas please and help as the forums say this definately should work 100 per cent, cant wait to listen to music through them..

I don't have the "3g" nor is my iPhone jailbroken,but I do have the adapter and I use the s9.
I had trouble pairing everything together but did get it to work try this
turn your Bluetooth function off on your phone
turn on your s9
insert adapter into phone
it will always say what it says about airplane mode but just hit no
go to your iPod menu and hit play
the adapter and the s9 should pair up
once you hear the music you can turn the Bluetooth function back on ,on your phone.
