Texting allowance?

I only have 200 for texting, now that I'll be using it more how and where do I check my usage so I don't go over. I couldn't find it under my account. Thanks

You can check under your account info at AT&T's website or get the free AT&T mobility app in the Appstore.

I'm so new with texting. I have 200 and I text quite a few today and I still have 198. How does the usage breaks down. Is it per text or minutes?

It's per text. If you texted a bit today, it'll probably take 2-3 days for it to show up on AT&Ts website. It says that it can take up to 72 hours for it to appear. So don't go thinking that you've only used two. I upped my plan from the 200 to the 1500 because I was going over ridiculous amounts. And I've even gone over the 1500.

I've gotten instant text updates using the AT&T app on my 3GS.
