Default Text not sent

Anyone ever send a text, but it not reach the recipient?

This has happened several times the past few days. The text is there, I see it. Looks like it went, but the receipient never received it and it doesn't show up in my AT&T log.

Just a fluke i suppose.

I've had that problem, even before I got my iPhone. Not unusual for someone to ask me if I rec'd their text, and I have not. If most of your texts reach their recipients with the exception of a few, I'd assume it's an AT&T issue and not the phone.

As an interim measure, you might want to start adding your own SMS address to the recipient list. Sort of like cc'ing yourself when you send an e-mail. After the text message is sent, if you don't receive the text, you know with certainty that the intended recipient didn't as well. If you do, and the recipient still does not receive the message, the problem is network related or the recipient's device.

This would also count as two texts instead of one, is that right?
