second hand iphone can get me in data plan from att??

i got a second hand iphone without any contract but wil b using my att card atleast for a month.
wud att trace this and put me on their data plan???

Some have claimed they get a text from ATT telling them to add the data plan. Search the forums and see if you find anything.

Normally they would not find out. In my case, they didn't force me to add the data plan until I call them to discuss about a billing error and they asked and I told them I used iphone. If you don't want to have any trouble, just don't tell them. Also, you can get off anytime by going back to your old phone.
