Default Phone Help

My 3G broke..im out of warranty and no upgrade til january. My bro bought my a my touch from tmobile and got it unlocked. Can I pop my sim in and run it on ATT?

Yes, the myTouch 3G will work on AT&T's network, though you won't get 3G with it since it's made to run on T-Mobile's 3G network, which operates on a different frequency than the iPhone 3G and other phones not made specifically for T-Mobile's network.

ok but i can still mms, internet and all that stuff? is it just a matter of popping my sim in and going or what?

You might need to adjust the carrier settings to get MMS working, but internet should work fine on Edge. Since it's already unlocked, you should get a signal as soon as you put the SIM in and disable 3G. To have full functionality, you need to be on T-Mobile, as many of the apps won't work right or at all with AT&T. However, they are great phones, the next best thing to the iPhone IMO.
