Is there a way to get only text and data plans. without minutes? I never use em so why even bother? Thanks in advance.

yes..laptop/aircard. you can email, text from internet, and use all the data you desire. why buy a phone for just internet/text when the phone costs almost as much as a cheap laptop if all you are going to do is use internet features. primary feature of a phone is being a phone. but to answer your question, no i do not think you can get data/text plans without purchasing a talk plan.

because its and iphone, not just a phone, he wants the other features, let him have them.
