Just got off the phone with AT&T they said they are turning on the MMS Friday June 19th.

I would think OTA but knowing ATT, they are great at screwing us over. But its on there end so there is no reason we would need to take it into the store.

They are going to have to put out a carrier settings update to enable MMS on the phones, so it won't be OTA, you will have to hook up to iTunes.

Well I would be glad if that's true. I really don't understand why it wasn't included in the 3.0. I will be glad when some push notification apps will be available.

Yea, whenever they decide to get their sh*t together you will have to connect to iTunes to get the newest ipcc file which will update the carrier settings to enable MMS.
