I and several others have had MMS working for over 24hrs now, and AT&T hasn't pulled the plug yet.

I tried using the instructions for the hack (“C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe” /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1) but the only response I get from the command window is "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect". I have itunes installed in the default folder too (8.2.0.23). Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

So do we know yet when they will turn it on? Obviously wasn't the 19th. I'm reluctant to give up my Bold until then.

there could be any number of reasons. are you running a 64 bit Operating System? Is this a MAC or a WINDOWS computer? you need to replace “C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe” with the iTunes.exe drive path.

32 bit windows and my path is the default of the command line. As mentioned in my post I have the correct path so who knows? Thanks for the input though.

I called today and all the 3GS's are ready and most of the 3G's are ready, but they still don't want to flip the switch even for the 3GS users. They still gave the late summer answer and said probably around the end of August. I think we will see it sooner than that though, I think the late summer answer is used as a just in case we can't get it ready sooner than that.
