I'm not very impressed with AT&T here. Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon have better coverage.
I wrote this a couple months ago, it pretty much sums up my feelings towards AT&T in SW Utah; Friday, I went to the mall to look at the samurai swords. Didn't get one because they didn't have any Hattori Hanzos, but that's another story. I was on a phone call as I walked in through Sears, but as soon as I hit Pretzel Time, as usual, my call dropped and I lost service. As I stepped out of the mall, I returned the call and walked about 100 yards to the small 4 screen theater that was showing
Moon. I was a little early, so I sat down in the theater and continued my phone conversation for 15 minutes until the movie started. My call dropped three times during that 15 minutes. I didn't have my Sprint cell with me or I just would have used it as it has never dropped a call in town. I have to go into Airplane mode at work, or the battery will die searching for a signal the whole shift. FWIW, if I put my T-Mobile SIM in my iPhone, the battery doesn't drain excessively while I'm at work.
