iPhone 3GS Pre-Orders Sold Out!!??!!

I heard from a few sources that the pre-orders for the new 3GS have been sold out and that some people with pre-orders would have to wait 7-14 days to get there phones. I pre-ordered my phone about 2 days ago..does anyone know if my pre-order is safe for the 19th or am I one of the unlucky ones who have to wait 2 weeks?? Thanks in advance

I find that ironic. The whole point of pre-ordering is so you won't have to deal with sold-out signs and you end up getting a sold-out sign from pre-ordering.

Well this is what Gizmodo is saying,

AT&T is telling customers that any iPhone 3GS pre-orders placed after today, June 13th, will not be available at the June 19th launch, instead shipping out between one and two weeks later.

So it looks like mine is safe cuz i luckily ordered it on June 11th...theres also reports of preorders having to be picked up at the store on the 19th...does that also include the online orders or will it still be shipped to my door on the 19th cuz of my online purchase?

I'm moving this to the AT&T forum since all articles so far state that it's only AT&T that's sold out for pre-ordering at this time. No need to alarm those pre-ordering from Apple...
