    I have a 3G, i cant get the new one for $299?

    Okay so i have a 3G iphone. i cant add 2 years more on my contract and get the iphone 3gs for $299?? i did this last year with my iphone 2.0. i bought the 3g for $299 and they just added 2 years on my current contract and then i sold the 2g. Now iam hearing i cant do this with the 3gs?

    You didn't pay the $600 for the 3G so your contract is stuck for 2 years if I remember correctly.

    The original iPhone wasn't subsidized - everyone paid full price for it.

    so i cant just add on 2 more years, making my contract 3 years, and get the iphone3Gs subsidized?

    Short answer is no, you can pay extra and get it, but you can't get it for the subsidized price.

    i can sell my current 16GB white iphone 3g for $400, should i sell and buy iPhone3Gs 16GB white for $399? basically i will see no loss or gain but i will get a new phone and all new features.

    I honestly do not thing you will get $400 for your current 3G. Old customers already have 3G and new customers can get a 32 gig for $299

    can you imagine working at an AT&T store and how many questions like this you would get each day? wow i think that would be enough to make me quit.

    i have it posted and have already 3 offers of people buying my iphone 3g white for $400. now i just cant sell it because i dont know if i can get an iphone3Gs for $400 or not. its for people who want it on other carriers.
