Default Early Upgrade

I read the article saying that at&t was going to let the people who can upgrade in July or August purchase the phone now. Has anyone done this yet? when I go to apple.com, it still shows that I would have to pay full price and that I can't upgrade till 7/31. The article also says that the people who paid full-price will receive a credit.

If I do order right now, when will expect to receive the phone considering the 19th is 2 days away?

There is a thread on this subject in AT&T forum. Basically, you have to be in good standing, purchased the phone last summer and pay over $99 a month BEFORE taxes. If you don't meet all 3 of those criteria, you will NOT be able to upgrade at the cheapest price. Sucks don't it.

I am sure if you check now, you will see that you are eligible for the early upgrade. They didn't update the accounts till around 2 a.m. central time. You posted this slightly before that time.

If you don't pay more than $99 month before taxes, you won't be eligible.
