At&t sucks!

Their 3G network is so spotty in the Chicago area and gives false signals everywhere. I can have full bars and nothing on my phone works internet-wise including apps that use the network. I would say that 75% of the time I just turn the 3g off. Also, the signal will go from full to nothing as soon as I make a call and then it will drop it. I hate AT&T and I really hope Verizon picks up the iPhone soon so I can drop this POS service.

There are many new sites that are planned to go active soon, AT&T is upgrading their network in a lot of areas on Chicago so your service should improve soon.

I feel the same way about AT&T in NYC. If the iPhone were on verizon or sprint I'd jump in a heartbeat. But alas...

AT&T has been perfect for me in Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.

It all depends on your area dude. Verizon is a joke in LA. Everyone I know out there is constantly dropping calls. Sprint is also terrible in LA, yet great in SF.

You should be saying AT&T sucks because they're making their customers wait who knows how long for MMS/tethering. :|

Same way here in alabama. And everywhere else i've been. And in a lot of other states that i hear customers complain about. Verdict = AT&T does suck. I use my G1 for voice.
