AT&T phone bill

At least yours was a screw up and you didnt have to pay it my 1st bill was $360 and it was right, lol.

I got my first bill about a week ago. It was $170ish. They charged me for the current month, and additionally, for the next month.

$39.99 first month
$39.99 for next month
$20 unlimited data use for first month
$20 unlimited data use for next month
$36 activation fee
$20ish in taxes

I called AT&T up and they said this is normal and that that's how they bill. I just think it's kinda odd that they're charging me a month in advance. Did anybody else get one like this?

Yup, that is normal. Just keep an eye on your monthly statements as they tend to get creative.
