OK, I know topics have been posted similiar to this. But has anyone gotten the shure adaptor and connected it with there headphones? Is this a good route to go? I hate the stock headphones and was thinking of buyins the shure..I think its the ones that are 149.99 on the apple site, along with the adaptor for the mic.

Just wondering if anyone has travelled down this path?

Im looking on the site and do not see any adaptor for the mike / ipod clicker.

Thats the only thing keeping me with the standard iPhone head phones is the little clicker ;). Ive seen the guy that soders replacement earbuds but im not about to go to that extreem yet.

The Shure adapter is called the MPA and it's available at Apple stores, if nowhere else.

My only concern with it is using along with a set of 'phones that already has a long cord.

Also, there are A LOT of buds/earphones/iems in the $150 range. Do yourself a favor and check out head-fi.org and check around the forum a little. That's enough money to do a little shopping around. Shures are good, but not the best...

The only other earphones i've seen with a mic have it much further from your mouth than the stock Apple ones.

And yes WOW you both have beautiful wife's and girlfriends and they seem to have a penchant for posing in bikinis ;) If my ex dressed and looked like that I guess she wouldn't be my ex :D
