I am a mac user and also a treo 700p user. Looking forward to the iphone. I know it won't do all the funtions of my treo, but I think if apple produced it, it has to be more reliable!

I agree that the iPhone should be more reliable than many of today's smart phones. The reliability that Apple and OS X bring to the table is one of the reasons I was attracted to the iPhone. Every time I have to reset my WM5 phone I want the iPhone a little more ;).

The one (and only) issue I have with iPhone is that I'd be forced to switch from Sprint and many of my family and friends have Sprint as well. I sure hope Apple has worked a deal with Cingular to accommodate people like us.

My entire family is on Verizon and it's the single thing that might prevent me from getting an iPhone. Didn't some mobile service providers offer buy-out programs to get people to switch? Wish ATT could help me out or offer free peak calls to 5 numbers or other networks.
