Full bars/ no service

hey my phone is showing that i have full signal from my wifi and everytime i try to connect it says safari canot open the page because it can't find the server.. any suggestions?
also, my itunes is not pickin up my phone anymore when i plug it in.. just wondering.. thanks

When you plug in your phone and open iTunes, there's a "Restore" button on the summary page.

the only thing about that, i cant sync my contacts so all of the work would b lost in restoring that right?

Yes (your contacts would be lost), unless you were smart and sync'd before the disaster happened. Then you will be fully restored to whenever you syn'c last.
If you never sync'd after all that hard work, I'm not even sure I can feel sorry for you. Who can own an iPhone and NOT sync?

Another suggestion if the first does not work. I had a problem just like this and I tried everything. Reset, restore, turning off the phones wi-fi, turning on airplane mode and turning back off. Turning off the phones wifi and using edge worked but it did not solve my wi-fi issue. Since none of that worked, I finally just reset my homes wi-fi. After the shut down and restart of my homes wi-fi I was up and running again. I was starting to sweat it, thinking I had a phone problem!:gasp:

Is the wifi connection yours, or are you piggy backing on somebody elses network? Sometimes you can connect to a wifi router, but that doesn't necessarily mean you can use the connection to access web pages. Have you tried the wifi connection with another device - a laptop for example?

ya the wifi connection is mine, and my laptop is running on it right now.. im gonna restart the router and do a restore and see if it fixes the problem.. and thanks for all the quotes geordisjd they helped me out alot haha

haha plz dont take me the wrong way i liked the quotes, definitly post some more on here.. also i figured out how to export my address book and got them on yahoo! address book now so i wont lose them during a restore...
