Anyone good with WinSCP? I'm desperate here

Ok I've tried this probably over 100 times already. Anytime I try and connect to WinSCP, I put in the IP, username, password, switch it to SCP and click Login. And without fail, every time I get the error message:

Network error: Connection timed out

I am usually pretty computer savvy but I have no idea what to do here, I've tried everything I can think of.

Is wifi turned on? Did u establish connection with your router? Did u set auto-lock to never?

Maybe try starting over from the beginning and installing SSH in case u did something wrong?

I've done it three times already. I've been searching around and it looks like a lot of people have this problem but I can't find anyone who has gotten it fixed yet.

I'm sorry dood. I don't know what else to suggest. I just installed it today and didn't have a prob with it at all. I will keep my eye out in case I come across any useful information that might help u out.
