Why is the dock not supported?

I always get an "This accessory is not supported. Do you want to turn on Airplane Mode?" message when I plug my iPhone in the dock to charge it. Whats up with this? Anyone else get this message? I have searched the forum for awhile now and haven't found a good answer. Thanks for the help.

Just unplug the dock from your mac/peecee, and plug it back in again. Problem solved!

I should of been more specifc. I have the dock pluged into a
wall electrical outlet, not my computer.
