Mods help please

I am trying to turn off my email notification for people replying to my posts on threads. How do I do that? I went to quick links/edit options and changed the email alert option to once a week, but I still get emails when people respond to threads I have replied on.

I am not a moderator, but you can control this by going to the control panel, viewing subscribed threads, and selecting the options that suit your needs.

Go to UserCP > Edit Options > Default Thread Subscription > change to your personal preference.
