If history serves me right, I believe Apple releases most of this type of stuff on Tuesdays...that goes for patches, software and even product releases.

Doubt you'll see anything on Sunday when nobody at Apple is at work.

So "if" there was an update, and it's one worth while, what's the best approach to take? Would you try and restore your iPhone to factory settings before updating, or simply run the update and let it do that for you?

well if u have the latest 1.0.1 version then no the best way to do this is plug in ur iphone go 2 itunes then click on the left tab <ur name> iphone then click on Check for updates and if theres a new update it will update it :laugh2:

Probably no need to restore unless you're having problems. I'd just plug in and let it do its thing.

BTB...question, like always!!! ha, so, I'm trying to transfer my photos to my iphone...i don't want the photo library to have all of them...i just want 3 different folders. Is it possible. if i make no sense let me know. my boyfriend doesn't understand me sometimes.

yes make 3 folders organize the photos in them then plug in ur iphone go 2 the left tab < ur name > iphone then click on Photos and click Sync from folders and check select th e folders ten apply / sync and ur good to go

I tried that already and i still get double the photos...
first all the photos go to photo library then it creates the 3 other folders as well. i just want the folders.

u have 2 remove the photol ibrary from the options udner PHoto when ur selecting folders i had the same problem

i click, choose folder, I choose desktop, I choose the two folders. i click apply then sync.

bam! I have too many folders on my iphone...
total 4

1) camera roll
2)photo library
3)pictures
4)stella mia

(I just want 1, 3, & 4) I want photo library empty...i'm thinking it won't happen.

ok...on the iphone, under photo albums, i have those 4 folders. when I sync it to my mac, i only choose pictures and stella mia folders. however the photos show up under the photo library folder as well, so technically I have the photos twice.

the photo library holds all the same photos as the two folders. I just want those two folders, not the photo library folder. BUT i'm thinking it's not possible, photo library is going to have all the photos then for an extra I have the additional 2 folders.

i'm confusing myself.

yes the photo library is going 2 have all the photos but ur pasting the pics in the other folders too so u have 2 remove the photo library from teh LIST thts being updating to ur phone so u only get the folders u want

BTW, if you have over 16 Photos that you put on your iPhone THROUGH your computer, then it will also create a photo library so you can view all of your photos at once
