View Full Version : iPhone internet cache?
Remain Nameless

Hey, so I was just curious about something... When browsing the internet, are the photos and text/websites you come across saved in a temporary internet files sort of deal (or cache) on the iPhone? Or once you exit a website it's like erasing the chalk board and you start with a clean slate (which seems easier to me, and would take up less memory on the iPhone)...
Anyway, if anyone has an idea, please let me know.
Thanks,
-Stacy

I haven't heard anything about a cache. If there is one infact im sure there will be a shortcut to clear it. I also believe that if there is a cache you can set the ammount of space set aside like you can with the recycling bin on your pc.

If it's to be a fully functioning web browser this would be a must.

If it's to be a fully functioning web browser this would be a must.I agree. I also think that this means that settings like cache size will be configurable. I would expect the same level of control available on the desktop version of the browser.
