View Full Version : bluetooth won't work (HELP)

when i got to activate bluetooth it turns on but it says under devices searching and it will not stop searching

any ideas / suggestions on how to fix it

i have never modded or hacked iphone
had it since jun 29 but never turned on bluetooth (until now)
tried restarting phone soft and hard

Have you tried pairing it with anything? Like a headset or a computer to see if it will pair? Once you turn it on, i think it stays discoverable.

i tried that just now with my old razor and it says

unable to connect and then service not supported

but it did find the iphone

try it with a headset, that is the only thing that the iphone bluetooth is currently useful for with the iphone. There is no file sharing via bluetooth at this time.

i was trying to pair it with a headset but i cannot
it says searching and i cannot get it to stop so it not possible for me to pair it

just to be sure, does that same headset pair with your razr? This will verify that the headset is not currently malfunctioning. If the headset pairs with the razr but not your phone, then I would try calling apple or making an appt at a local apple store.

ok i will makke an appontoment at the apple store b/c this does pair with my razor
