Do you trust the iPhone Web Appliations with your username and passoword?

Hello,

I was wondering if you trust the different iPhone Web Applications such as the ones that access your accounts with Ebay, Amazon, Hotmail...etc with your username and passwords. I really appreciate the effort of different developpers to making those Applications free for us users but still kind of makes me paranoid a little. What do you think?

I trust sites with my username/password ONLY on my home wi-fi and the wi-fi at my girlfriend's house.

I do NOT trust sites with that info over public wi-fi or Edge.
