I have read in this Forum (and many others) people having issues sending MMS (pictures specifically) to Verizon phones. I continue to get the same issue as well....here is the message I get back...
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
< xxxxxxxxxx@vzwpix.com >
(reason: 550 SMTP connection refused)
----- Transcript of session follows -----
... while talking to smtp.vzwpix.com.:
>>> DATA
<<< 550 SMTP connection refused
554 5.0.0 Service unavailable
The Message is slightly different depending on which Email account I sent it from...Yahoo, Gmail and .Mac.
I know that the Verizon person has the feature becasue they can send me picutres to my email and they arrive with the xxxxxxxxxx@vzwpix.com address.
Anyone else have any ideas?
Every other Sprint, Att and TMobile work just fine...just an issue with Verizon....

Im gonna try it right now and let you know what happens for me.
Also, what are the carrier extentions for all the other carriers besides AT&T to send MMS? I was curious but can't find them. Any help would be awesome!

Sounds like Verizon is blocking you. Try sending from another account. Using Yahoo mail for sending by chance?

From my frist post...
The Message is slightly different depending on which Email account I sent it from...Yahoo, Gmail and .Mac.
I swear I have tried everything. I have even sent photos to these Verizon (2 different friends) accounts directly from my PC and MAC from each of my Email Accounts (.Mac, Yahoo, GMail, MSN and even my work Exchange account) and get near the exact same error message.
Thank you!!!! And Joe, I got the same error message that you did.
So it certainly seems that the issue is far from just an iPhone issue...but I have read account from other iPhone users that have successfully sent pictures to Verizon phones....but how???? LOL eventually...we will get this!!!
On the Verizon help sites...i get this response "thats what you get for getting a iPhone on an inferior network"...yea...whatever...have fun with paying to unlock your phones features!!!
