Restoring Factory Settings

Is there any way that I can restore factory settings to my Iphone WITHOUT doing it through ITunes?

I downloaded the new software for Itunes and the IPhone, and since that time ITunes does not recognize my Iphone.

It gives me a message saying that I should use the tab in Itunes to restore the Iphone's factory settings, but since ITunes does not recognize the phone, I can't do it through ITunes.

Anyone know how to restory factory settings just using the IPHone?

Go to your Iphone Settings -> General -> Reset

here you can select what sort of content you want to erase.. simple :)
