As long as it says att at the top of the phone then no international fee.

Although you may notice that the phone automatically switches to "Hawaiian Time"
(Do they still sell those clocks?) :D

hahaaaa. Yes, Hawaii is in fact part of the United States.
i was so surprised how good the coverage was in hawaii. EDGE was fast, and i had full bar 90% of the time during my recent trip.
i knew honolulu would be good, but i spent the majority of my time on the relatively rural North Shore. It was so much fun to lay on the beach with no one around for miles and surf the web on my new toy.

i have a ton of pictures that i took with my iphone on my trip. some really nice ones, too. i'm just too lazy to host them at photobucket.
i'll try to get around to it when i can.
