I'm not crazy about having to sync videos via a special playlist, since I only pu ta couple of episodes of a show on at a time and don't want to sync the entire collection of that show.
But I found that after deleting a viewed show from the iPhone (as prompted by the iPhone after viewing it), it removes it from the phone, but it doesn't communicate to iTunes that you deleted it, and unless you also remove it from the playlist it puts it right back on at the next sync.
That renders the "delete to preserve space" things pretty useless.
Hopefully in the next update we get the ability to just drag and drop videos in iTunes.
