How do I change carriers name on iPhone?

quick question, i wanna change my carrier's name, but i know what software to use to make a new picture in png file, and the exact size 44x20px...iam more of a movie guy then photoshopping pictures and stuff like that, so if anyone knows of any free program out there where i can make this stuff, pls gimme a link....thanks a lot guys

If you click Edit Post and then Advanced you can add a title.

As far as your question, if it's such a simple little picture, can't you just use Paint (assuming you're on a PC)?
