Desktop Clock?

I was curious if there was any way to use my iPhone as a desktop clock. It is such a beautiful phone, I think it would be nice to have it function as an always on (while docked) clock, so that I didnt need to hit the home button everytime I wanted to check the time.

It woud be nice to also have the display always on while plugged in for ipod use as well. Any ideas?

im sure that it is : settings-->general-->auto-lock-->NEVER

Thank you! That should solve the problem with the display turning off. Any idea where or how I can get a nice looking clock with big numbers to display?
