Use of "To" & "cc" on Email

Dos anyone know how to delete a person that you have added to the "To" or "cc" in an email before it is sent? Sometimes I select a person to cc or to send an email to and chaneg my mind before i send it out and if i have already typed in the entire message it appeard I can only start over...HELP!!!

Click to the right of the the contact, not on it as it will be in a "blue bubble", clicking as if you were about to add another contact. You can backspace and delete then contact then.

Much like editing part of a sentence you already typed.
