That's pretty cool. I did something similar with my desktop computer a few years ago - I took a picture of the wall directly behind it and used it as my wallpaper. Made the monitor appear transparent.

Here's a nice tutorial (http://www.macmerc.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=286&page=1) on how to do it for laptops, I'd guess it's a similar process but with a phone
