Mississippi will always be home even though I am in Texas now. Born and raised, Mississippi Bred. I am also a Mississippi Girl. My mom and true "Southern Belle" an Dad a true " Southern Gentlemen". Born in Clarksdale, lived Greenville, Cary, Rolling Fork, Jackson, and Yahoo City. Dad worked for Mississippi Chemical for 30 plus years. The old family homestead is in Meridian Mississippi(over 100 years old), and I am the only one who did not graduate from Mississippi State. I am in Maroon Territory in Texas (Aggies) but when it comes to wearing Maroon, I proudly wear the Mississippi Maroon.

You can take me out of Mississippi but you can not take the Mississippi out of me.

But try mixing that Mississippi slang with East Texas Slang, I have my own language now and use it with my iPhone.

I live in Nesbit, MS pretty close to Memphis. Just got my iphone four days ago for my birthday. I love it! I am having so much fun with it, my husband is ready to smash it. He also works with a couple of guys that have iphones and between all of us we keep showing him all the cool things we can do.
