i find it interesting that they say turning on the autobrightness will increase your battery time, i find it to be the opposite, i doubled my battery use time by turning off autobrightness

I would think that it could go either way. I think it would dependon the "average" brightness with the auto on compared to the brightness you manually set it to stay at.
