First iphone bill?

Has anyone here received the first bill with the Iphone or at least seen it online? Mine says 0.00...I've heard a few people complaining cause they are being charge for some crazy amount of $...I'm getting worried

Mine still shows $0.00 online as well but I have only had my phone for two weeks, it's too soon to have a bill.

No problems on my bill, they just pro-rated the data plan from the 29th to 18th and added it.. I'm just happy not to see an avtivation fee.

I purchased my iPhone 6/30. My first bill, prorated from that date, was $122.50. I'm in Illinois where the taxes are somewhat higher than other states.

I was an existing AT&T customer. My first iPhone bill was 95.00 compared to 130 on my Blackberry Pearl bill

I dunno, but i'm not questioning it. I've searched the detailed bill up and down. It has all my plan info correct, and it shows TONS of data transfer / SMS / etc.

5157 items on my detailed bill. This includes all calls / messages / data transfer sessions.

It just shows every single thing i do. That's calls, SMS messages, every "session" data was transferred. In other words 1 "data session" would show like 20 mbs transferred, and so on and so forth.

I send ALOT of text messages. :) haha
I went home for lunch and got the paper form of the bill in the mail....the envelope was like a BOOK. It was litteraly squared off it was so thick. LOL

Mine is $164. I got my phone the first week of July. So I got charged that month, the month of August and my activation charges. It all makes sense to me. I don't have to pay it till August 23.

When you get your bills, look at the details of it. If you are new to AT&T, you typically pay 2 months on the first bill plus activation and any other fees. If you were an existing subscriber, and only added the iPhone on to an existing plan, you pay for the prorated cost for the Iphone plan you chose for your current billing period plus the iPhone plan amount ($20, $30 or $40) for the following billing period. For example:

My bill before getting an iPhone was a family plan for my fiancee and I. It was typically $80 ($70 family plan plus taxes - we get a $10 credit because my company is an AT&T partner - ignore text/internet use charges). When I got the iPhone, I had it on the last day in my billing cycle (7/28). My next bill was for the service for 7/29-8/28, iPhone data prorated for 1 day (7/28) and iPhone data for 7/29-8/28. The bill was for $115.04. Here's some simple math:

$115.04 - $20 (iPhone data) = $95.04
$95.04 - $15.11 (text/internet usage for 6/29-7/28, before iPhone) = $79.93
$79.93 (less any negligible taxes related to $20 iPhone data plan) is the amount that I would have expected to pay normally

When you get your bill, sit down with a piece of paper, look at it and do this:
Take the total of the bill you received, and deduct things one piece at a time, itemizing it with a description of what it is. Then you'll see what you are paying for and it won't be a mystery. You will also find any mistakes that MAY have been made. When you get the next month bill, do the same. After that, the bills should be for around the same amount (for iPhone only - if there are other phones on your plan, they may have usage charges that depend on the # of text or internet usage). I can reasonably expect my next bill to be around $100 - it's the $80 I was paying before plus the $20 for the iPhone data plan.
