After finally understanding that only the FIRST sync wipes out the iPhone bookmarks (thank god), I've run into another problem.
Any bookmarks that were not in a sub-folder on the iPhone were created as Folders in the Safari bookmarks (empty folders, that dont' work as bookmarks). The names are the same, but they aren't bookmarks, but folders. When I try to delete them or overwrite them, Safari crashes.
Anyone else have this problem or, better yet, a solution?
