iTunes doesn't see my iPhone

I was synching fine, then all of a sudden I plugged the phone in to sync another contact and itunes doesnt show my iphone as being connected. What can I do?

happens to me once in wile i just restart my computer
then start up itunes agan and it works

Happens to me constantly. I have to reboot my computer EVERYTIME I go to sync my iPhone. It is driving me friggin' nuts!

yeah man i had this same exact problem last night on my windows XP so all i did was restart and it worked fine. hopefully this will too be fixed in the next update
