Somehow I lost my last car charger and going to get a new one, are any sig better than others or basically all the same? Think my last was a Belkin, worked fine but the cord was too short for talking on the phone and still charging the phone.

I would not be adverse to something that holds the phone, charges it and allows for working the apps.

Thanks for the suggestions.

The best I've had so far is the Griffin 9749-P JBLK PowerJolt Auto Charger for iPod (Black). It works beautifully with the 3G or 3GS iPhones. I've bought 3 chargers in the past that didn't have the right voltage so you have to be very careful which one you choose, even if it says it works with the iPhone. You have to make sure it works with your model iPhone. It also comes with an extra USB cable, which is nice. You don't have to buy it from the link to Amazon if you don't want to. Do a search and see if you can find it somewhere else, possibly cheaper.

i really dont recommend those car chargers
i think its a problem with the voltage difference issue so i think it makes your battery life cap go low like crazy!
this isnt confirmed but thats what i felt after using those car chargers.
can anyone confirm this?

That's interesting, my other option is one of the add on batteries that you can marry up to the iphone, more expensive but supposedly doubles the battery life.

Umm... yeah... No confirmation on that. I've been using these chargers since the 3G debuted and I can still go for like 3 days without a charge.:ok:ok
